Painting For My First
Great Grandchild
I’ve been painting for my first great grandchild who will be making her appearance in July 2026. My first child’s first child is having a child and we are over the moon about her. Yes it’s a girl, and no we don’t have a name yet. It’s a surprise.
I made a short video about the gifts I painted for her. Click the button blow to watch.
Many of you may know I love thrifting an then turning those items into works of art. I used to joke if you sat in my studio too long I just might paint you.
I collected some items I thought might be cute decor for my first great grandchild’s room. Mom is decorating it in woodland animals and I thought that’s something I can get into. And I did.
The shower was also a woodland theme and my daughter went all out on the food. That’s something she can get into.
We had a fabulous creative time as we welcome a precious spirit into our family. Can’t wait to meet her.
Thanks for checking in today.
XO,
Sharon
P.S. I have currently invested in a year long art mastermind where I’ll be learning about drawing, learning how the masters painted, pastels, watercolor, oils, and my beloved acrylic paint.
This is an all encompassing mastermind so I will be taking a break from creating weekly YouTube videos. I’ll be documenting this journey on this blog weekly. (I hope.). I have cut down on many things to improve my own art and just couldn’t find a way to continue making videos and be part of this amazing opportunity to improve my own art.
I so appreciate your support over the years and hope this blog will continue to be of interest to you.
Thanks again
