10 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Began Painting!
Really! I’ve thought long and hard about this and there are at least 10 things I wish I knew before I began painting. These are the top 10 and each one is a game changer in my opinion.

Let me give you a rundown on the 10 things I wish I knew before I began painting.
- What brushes did I need. I spent a small fortune on brushes I never used.
- Learn and understand more about color. Get a color wheel and start learning.
- The importance of values in creating depth.
- Not every painting is good and that’s ok. You win or you learn.
- Practice with a purpose is rocket fuel to your art.
- How even a little instruction can help improve my art.
- Find a mentor. (I tell you how in the video)
- Draw more – Every day for 10-15 minutes
- Relax. Art is a process.
- Work in a series.
