Why I Bought It and How It Works
Oh crud! I’m out of my usual turquoise deep paint. No time to wait for an online order. I’ll run to Hobby Lobby and pick some up. WRONG!
Sadly Hobby Lobby is no longer carrying any professional grade paints so I purchased turquoise green by Grumbacher Academy which is a student grade paint. I’m not trying to be a paint snob, but I like what I like and a good heavy body paint is my preferred weapon of choice. But sometimes you just have to go with the flow. (See what I did there?)
They also didn’t have my color which is turquoise deep so I thought I’d try turquoise green. I do love the color but it is a little warmer than turquoise deep. I could tone it down a bit by adding a touch of Ultramarine Blue.
In this video I examine the color, the thickness of the paint and how it plays with its complement, (the color opposite on the color wheel) and its neighbors.
Hope you enjoyed that product review. If you got value from it, I would appreciate a thumbs up and subscribing to my channel. Also if you have a question or comment post it on there. I try to answer every single one.
