Painting Classes For 10 and Up
I’m hosting beginning painting classes at the Community Art Center in Vevay, Indiana on the third Wednesday of the month from 6-8 p.m. These are great classes for get togethers, work groups, families, or come by yourself and make some new friends.
The goal of these classes is to have fun and introduce new painters to painting with acrylic paint and to give fundamental instruction they can use in their future art. There’s always lots of laughter to be had during the class and I’d love to have you join us.
In this painting of a seascape we learned how to create the evening sky, paint the moon, put reflections of the sky into the water and paint sea oats along the shore line.
Fundamentals we learned was how to create distance in the sky, how to mix paint, how to create a silhouette and how to use different brushes. Not bad for a 2 hour class.
