Last Class of 2022
The final class for 2022 at The Community Art Center in Vevay, Indiana was challenging, instructional but most of all fun.
We painted a snowy pine branch with various colors of ornaments. The painters both agreed that while this painting looks simple it was challenging.
Some of the things we learned were:
- how to create distance with colors,
- how to paint a pine branch
- how to paint snow
- how to create form
- how to add highlights
This was a fun class and I hope you’ll join us in the future.
Speaking of future classes, we are going to do a multi week class in January where we will paint a landscape in a 16″x 20″ format. Classes will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays in January from 10 a.m. – noon. Students will need to provide their own canvas and bring any brushes you care to bring. I will provide paint and instruction. Classes need to be paid for in advance. Please watch this page for more information and to reserve your spot.
