How to Paint a Pumpkin
It’s pumpkin painting time and I’m going to make it as easy as possible to paint a pumpkin in any color or size. I created three shorts starting with a sketch of the pumpkin, the pumpkin and then the stems, vines and leaves.
While these YouTube shorts are, well short, you can learn a lot by watching all three videos. It’s a quick and easy way to learn to paint this pumpkin with vines and leaves. You can paint this in any color you’d like and paint several together to make a cool painting or decoration.
The first video is about sketching your pumpkin. Sketching is just a very simple drawing but it can help you figure out your painting composition. It helps you decide on things like size, shape and placement.
The second video is actually a “how to paint a pumpkin” tutorial. You can paint it using any color or size you’d like. You could even purchase a wooden pumpkin at Dollar Tree and you can paint it with a little more depth and style.
The third video is all about painting the vines and leaves.
This playlist is short but you really can learn a lot in these short videos and you don’t have to invest a ton of time.
ENJOY!
This month in the Beginner’s Painting Club we are using pumpkin in our Fall Cornfield painting where we painted a cornfield with pumpkins in front with a little mouse looking on. In this months bundle you will learn how to draw the corn and the mouse. Then we had a class on learning how to paint the corn and then we painted Fall Cornfield.
