4 Ways to Transfer an Image on your canvas to paint
Famous artist C.W. Mundy said in a digital class I took, “get it on there any way you can”.
I wholeheartedly agree. Having said that, I’m going to show you several ways (4) to GET THAT DONE.
I must caution all artists, new and experienced, you CANNOT, I repeat, CANNOT, copy an image from a magazine, calendar, book or any published source. That is breaking the copyright law. You can use the photo as a reference for colors, shapes, dimensions, but you may NOT copy any published image.
Ways to transfer an image:
- Original drawing it on
- Paint it on.
- Grid it on.
- Use transfer paper and your drawing.
In the video you will see examples of each of these. There are lots of ways to get an image on, but these are the 4 I use the most.
Hopefully, while you were on my YouTube channel you gave it a thumbs up and subscribed to my channel. If you know anyone who would love to paint as much as you, how about sharing it with them. It’s the best way to help me help more people learn to paint.
Thanks so much for being here today and let’s paint together soon.
