Maybe You Should Paint During The Game
I know it’s practically heresy to say you don’t really care about the BIG game, but there are those people who really don’t care.
So for those folks, I created this fun beginner painting tutorial that would be very doable for the kiddos and adults. This would be a super activity for the super bowl. See what I did there?
I painted this on an 8″ x 10″ canvas panel. I used several brushes, a size 10 natural bristle brush for the sky and the background grass. I used several other synthetic brushes that can be purchased in a pack at any big box art store.I had a painting set I purchased for a project I did several months ago while in Florida so I pulled out those tubes of paint. I think there were about 12 .2 oz tubes of paint and I used yellow, orange, 3 shades of brown, several shades of blue and green and white. I also used a speck of black.
On the brushes, you can buy a package of synthetic brushes for around $15 that have 6-10 sizes. I highly discourage you from purchasing a pack of brushes that have all different colored handles. That is almost a dead give away that those brushes will break your heart.
You can totally paint this football in the colors of your favorite team, add some goal posts in the background, (they need to be much smaller to give the perspective of distance).
