Custom Phone Cases
The problem with phones and phone cases is they eventually break or wear out. I had that happen on all levels recently.
I had an iPhone 7 and the case broke. I’m a member of Teespring (now it’s just called Spring.com) so I thought I’d have a new one made using the graphic design I did for the Painter Nation. I put it on aprons, t-shirts, notebooks, stickers and phones cases. It took forever to get here and when it did I was so disappointed. Watch the video to see for yourself.
Then that phone died suddenly so I had to get a new phone. OUCH! Yes that was a big ouch! But then I also needed a new phone case. Sheesh!
I am also a member of Fine Art America where you can have just about anything made into stuff. Stuff like pillows, mugs, blankets, shower curtains, in addition to prints, giclee’s and notecards. You can also get phone cases. I selected the painting I wanted to put on my phone case and in less than 10 days it was wrapping itself around my new iPhone 12 protecting it from all the damage I can do to it.
If you watched the video you know which one I loved and which one was a definite disappointment. But I’ll let the cat out of the bag here.
The Teespring phone case was a complete disappointment. It was nothing more than a clear rubber/plastic case with a sticker of my design on it. I could have done that for 1/2 the price. It was such a disappointment I removed it from my site. I didn’t want anyone buying something I’d created and endorsed and be as disappointed as I was.
Having said that, I love the apron and the T-shirt but that phone case and notebook came off until I can re-position the notebook. There’s nothing I can do to improve the phone case. If you’re interested in checking out my Painter Nation apron or t-shirt click HERE. I did buy them and I do love them.
The Fine Art America phone case was pretty cool as I showed in the video. It’s like they took my artwork and melded it in hot plastic and then molded that to fit my phone. The artwork covers the entire front and all four sides like a glove.
Fine Art America is a pretty cool site that you can look through all sorts of art and have just about anything made with that on it. Click HERE to go to my page. When you go there you can click on any piece of art and then you can select any of the items I’ve chosen to put my art on. You can have prints made so if you thought the original was out of reach you can have a print or a giclee’ or even notecards made.
My most watched video on my YouTube channel is ironically one I did about Fine Art America. Click HERE to view it.
One way you can support artists like me that doesn’t cost a penny is to like and share social media posts and for me to view my videos, give them a thumbs up, subscribe and leave a comment. It really helps other beginner artists find the content I put out there.
I have a new FREE workbook on perspective that I believe will help beginning artists improve their art. If that’s you, click that big beautiful button and get your own printable workbook.
My goal is to teach 1000 purpose driven beginning artists to paint using fundamentals, elements of art and step by step tutorials. If that’s calling your name and tugging at your heart, click HERE to learn more about how you can begin learning today.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you found this post fun and informative. Have a great day and let’s paint together real soon.
