Touring The Community Art Center

Vevay, Indiana is a quaint little, one stop light, adorable Ohio River town with great restaurants and eclectic things to see and do. It is definitely a day trip destination. (Pronounced Vevee). Take a tour of the Community Art Center in Vevay, IN below.
The Community Art Center is sort of like the anchor store in the mall because of its location and its size. It is located at the corner of the only stop light in town and is open noon-4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On the first Friday of the month they are open til 8 p.m. with lots of things going on all over town.

What to See and Do in Vevay, IN.

There are several different types of restaurants in Vevay as well as an antique mall, a historic theatre, an antique emporium, a quilt shop, the Historical Society museum, the river park, beautiful architecture, all within walking distance.
As far as accommodations go, there is a great campground and Belterra Casino and Resort.
Best Time To Visit
The best time to visit is Wednesday – Saturday to make sure most if not all the shops are open. The First Friday of every month is always a party atmosphere and is a great time to visit.
You can step back in time as you visit the local shops and view the beautiful architecture in this small river town. Pack a lunch or spend the night and visit historic Vevay, Indiana.
